- Jamie how changed during your personal and professional life during this terrible COVID time?
It’s a terrible time for the planet….and for everyone…..I m going out only when necessary, i m very careful, I drastically reduced almost all unecessary social contacts . Due to the situation many gigs were cancelled or postdated which is something i was expecting of course (and not only myself).
The professional life ist still growing and trying to be as normal as possible with many studio projects i m working to…actually you need much more patience and time for everything as everythings worldwide is slower than normal…Hopefully we will back to the normal « normality » really soon - Recently one of your Artist/singer CINTHIA MANLEY passed away as well as some other great artists ….
unfortunately this one has been a very sad year with the unexpected loss of three great singers of the Purple Family …Cinthya Manley with whom I have released « Give » « Sunshine Hotel » & « Save the world » a very nice and professional great singer and friend, Nicole Mitchell with whom we released also threee records though other producers (Diego Auguanno , Alex ander and Paolo Barabato) and Michael Procter with whom we had many great parties in Switzerland, Miami and we released at the early beginning almost 20 years ago the song « Paradise »… I was also very sad about the premature death of Eric Morillo early september, …. - Did u sign new Artists at the Purple Label?
We have released some projects by Eric Faria a great Portuguese producer, as well as a couple ones by the italian star Andrea T Mendoza, & Seumas Norv. I get constantly demos from worldwide from new comers and well known producers…but I really like the fact that our main artists deliver constantly new great music that’s why we love to be a Family Walterino, Seb Skalski, MOD, Mannix, Rob Hayes, Fabe & dj Sacchi, The French House Mafia, James deron, Nikos Diamantopoulos, Mario Piu, Diego Auguanno, Selva Basaran,Delvino & Ken, Ivan Nasini, Kim Cooper,Billie,Diva Avari, Andrea Love, Michael Watford…. - WHAT ARE YOUR NEXT OWN PROJECTS 😕

There are many ones, I never put a limit to dreams and music, I think you need to be smart,have a bit of luck and work hard, life can be a very nice surprise…..I m always open for good collaboration… and .I love unexpected good surprises ! - PURPLE MUSIC WILL BE CELEBRATING SOON 23 YEARS ANNIVERSARY : WAW ANY COMMENT ABOUT IT ?

Many things have changed in the music industry during the past decades, it has been not always an easy way but when we look back at our Catalogue, friends, artists, and releases we have , we look eachother and say : we did the right think !, and this make us very happy ! - IF PURPLE MUSIC COULD BE BASED IN ANOTHER CITY OF THE WORLD: WHERE IT WOULD BE?
I don’t know really but we are citizen of the world, probably in the best place of the world for us…..

Not really …I start to be dj long time ago with 18 , I run the most famous swiss dj recordshop for over 17 years, produced and have the label since more than 23 years…since I was a teenager i m doing what i like to do . I m very lucky and proud about it. Bit i m also a man, a father and an husband… I have the greatest jobs !! - JAMIE LEWIS MOTTO:
